Passionate About Inspiring Others...

I have been teaching guitar for over 10 years and playing for more than 40. My lessons are primarily focussed around repertoire and related theory, timing, strumming techniques, pick and finger styles, accuracy, dynamics, improvisation, song craft and perfect practice techniques.

I have come to understand that not all people learn in the same way and I have adapted my teaching methods to ensure that each student walks away confident in what they have been taught.

Aside from seeing my students progress I personally as a player get a lot from these interactions. I enjoy being introduced to songs or artists that I may never have considered exploring before. Teaching also keeps me on my toes! I need to be up to scratch with my theory, understanding and charting abilities in order to deliver the best lesson that I can.

The Studio Space

To ensure the best outcome, I have created a dedicated studio space for teaching with a private entrance, easy lift or stair access and plenty of free parking nearby. With looping stations and amplifier the student can explore playing plugged in and to background beats.
